The general conditioning of the garden of Falerina complements the renovation work of the Palace of Monthermoso.
The grounds had an absolutely private character, enclosed by high stone walls that guaranteed isolation and security.
It was in a very bad state of disrepair. The only pre-existing items to consider are the trees among which two large conifers stand out, located facing the south façade of the palace.
A simple arrangement where gardened area with grass predominate, an arrangement that respects all of the existing trees and looks to open up the space to the surrounding streets, ridding it of that private character.
The main entrances to the garden are designed to be from the palace. There are also entrances from adjoining streets.
An essential conditioning factor in the arrangement is the placement of a small cafeteria in the south wing of the palace. It was done by creating a hollow in its connection to the building, a terraced patio that goes down from the elevation imposed by the two large trees down to basement level.
One can exit this lower platform by means of a ramp that diverge into diverse routes that surround the gardened areas.
